The SōmaArc
Precision-contoured cork that creates space along the spine and greater contact with the muscles surrounding it. The next Sōmavel roller, in fine-grain Portuguese cork.
Ships Late Fall 2026 · A limited run.

A cylinder is honest: one even pressure across everything it meets — including the one line of the body that asks for space instead.
The SōmaArc answers with its profile. The centre curves away into a channel; the contoured shoulders stay in full contact on either side. Pressure where the muscle is. Space where the spine is.
The centre of the roller curves away, so the line of the spine rests in open space rather than on the surface.
Raised contours on either side of the channel carry the pressure into the muscle that runs beside the spine — contact exactly where the roll is aimed.
Precision-cut grooves along each shoulder give the surface its texture, the same considered grip as the original Sōmagroove.

The Sōmagroove is full contact — one even, grounded pressure for the broad work: legs, back, everything that wants the whole surface.
The SōmaArc is its counterpart. The same cork, the same firmness, contoured for rolling along the line of the back — a more intentional roll.
One material, nothing hidden inside — for people who care how a thing works, what it’s made of, and how it sits in a room.
